A Japanese reconstruction system, not a hair mask
Tokio Inkarami is a Japanese hair reconstruction treatment. Its formula combines three types of keratin of different molecular weight with INKARAMI technology, which interweaves the actives inside the hair so the fixation lasts, and with fullerenes, antioxidant molecules whose discovery was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
The difference from an ordinary mask is where it acts. A mask deposits product on the surface and washes away. Here we work on the internal structure of the fibre, which is what breaks down after bleaching, straightening, colour, or daily heat styling.

Professional drying and finish so you see the real result. A full session takes one to one and a half hours depending on length.

Hair reconstruction
Reconstruction, straightening and masks are not the same thing
This is the most common confusion and it is worth clearing up before booking, because what you should expect is different in each case.
Hair reconstruction repairs the internal structure: the hair regains strength, elasticity and density, and keeps its natural movement. It does not change the shape of your hair — if you have curls, you still have curls.
Straightening does the opposite: it changes the shape to leave the hair straight. It can look beautiful, but it is not repairing anything inside.
A mask is surface maintenance. Excellent between sessions, but it will not rebuild hair that is already damaged.

Does Tokio Inkarami straighten the hair?
No. It is a reconstruction, not a straightening treatment. Hair is left softer, shinier and easier to manage, and keeps its natural shape: if you have waves or curls, they stay.
How long does the session take?
One to one and a half hours, depending on length and condition. It is a step-by-step treatment and each step has its own processing time.
Can it be done on the same day as colour?
Yes, and that is when it makes most sense: applied after colouring or bleaching, it helps bring strength back to the fibre exactly when it is needed. Tell us when you book so we can allow enough time.
How long does the effect last?
It depends on length, starting condition and home care. It holds up considerably better with the TOKIO IE home line, created as a continuation of the salon system.
Is it suitable for very bleached hair?
That is exactly its territory. It is designed for hair damaged by lifting, straightening, colour or heat. On very damaged hair we start with a diagnosis and tell you honestly what to expect.
